“- The title of the special will be "The Nightmares of Christmas”
– Clara is faced by Santa Claus with a choice. To get Danny back and to leave The Doctor, or to stay with The Doctor and not get Danny back. She must decide. Her best friend, or her lover.
– Clara is shocked to see The Doctor again, believing that this is another one of her dreams. They come clean to each other.
– Clara tells The Doctor about dreams she’s been having. Dreams of a perfect life with her Mum and Danny still still being alive and also nightmares of the traumatic events of her childhood, with her Mothers death. The Doctor tells her that these dreams aren’t natural and are influenced by something. He tells her to put her hands in the telepathic link and (like in the finale) the TARDIS takes them to a top secret military research group, experimenting on prehistoric creatures from under the ice.“
