The monsters in this episode are scary and there is plenty of slime, silliness and even a sleigh before Jenna Coleman performs some of her best scenes as an assistant towards the end.

Jenna and Capaldi seem more tactile in this episode and with their on-screen relationship growing, you can see why many fans are keen that they stay together to fight the evil monsters throughout space and time for many episodes to come.
