Can you please do a tutorial of how to do the updates hover tab with the balloons? The only ones I can find are words. Please help! Thanks!

Sure thang, hun! It’s not very hard, but you do need a wee bit of html/css knowledge. I’ll try to explain the best I can!

First thing’s first, go to your blog, go to customize in the right upper corner, and it’ll open a page on the side where your theme is. Click on “edit html”, and that’ll bring you to a whole page of codes.

Secondly, find all of your meta name tags. You might need to use your browser’s “find” command to find them if your theme code is really long. It should be towards the beginning. Once you find it, paste THIS CODE underneath it.

Third, find where is says “style” or” style type css” (it should be near the meta names) Paste THIS CODE underneath it. Right now, it’s edited to the exact specifications of my hover tab. You can edit the dimensions and the colors if you wish.

Now, find where it says head and body and paste THIS CODE underneath it.

Update the preview in the right corner of the tab and save. Go back by clicking “appearance” and hit “save”. This will take you back to your blog. Get back into it, by going to customize again. This time, don’t go into the code. You will see in the list somewhere “titletab”, it will have an “upload” button next to it. Find an image you want to use. You can find a masterpost of cute ones HERE

Save, and go back into the code, scroll where you pasted the code in the body, and that’s where you can edit the text that’s there.

Hope this helped! 🙂
