So just wondering but how do you feel about river song? Like/dislike?

Both and neither. My feelings about River have changed since she first appeared in Series 4. I had a strong dislike to the way she was written in that episode and felt like she was a Mary Sue, random character and just disliked her. But as her story played out over Series 5-6 with her final good-bye at the end of Series 7, she did grow on me and I liked her arc and the way her story ended.

My disappointment in her coming back is that it fells like a rehash, dragging out of a trope that had a decent ending. I don’t know the context that she is coming back in but I just feel like her story is over. This is not tied to my feelings as a shipper simply because I have accepted that Clara could be gone at the end of Series 9, it’s tied up in my feelings of wanting River’s story to stay over and moving on.
