My quick thoughts as I was watching, so a quick recap for you ❤
- What battle is this?
- C’mon those land mines were creepy, that guy tho. Did you see that?
- How come there is a random child in a battlefield?
- DAVROS! Screaming inside.
- I like how the guy must be on a Segway, the way he moves.
- But my fav bit is how on Karn he gets put into place. Nice!
- Clara, maybe you should find another job. Not exactly going to win any teacher of the year awards.
- And sure, UNIT just casually calls you and Kate decides to pop in for a cameo. Essentially.
- I hate Missy but Michelle Gomez just does such a gooooood job with her. For real.
- The dialogue between Missy and Clara is amazing…“pet dog, make me believe,” Squad goals with these two.
- Though why is Missy alive?
- Vortex Manipulator? Cheap prop.
- Doctor riding in on a tank? Ooooookay.
- Could have done with out the Dude, dude, Duuuudddeeee scene.
- But the whouffaldi??? Yesssssss. The hug, the music, “it’s a way to hide your face” and boy is he hiding.
- Nice recap on Dalek Creationism. That was well done
- Does anyone care that the fact that Missy seemingly died but survived is addressed and dismissed in the same sentence?
- The Doctor and Davros, well done.
- SKARO? But how?
- Did you see the fear in Missy’s face?
- Missy, you wouldn’t take the TARDIS, would you? You have to be playing a con?
- Wow, did she really?
- Clara is scared and Jenna did such an amazing job with this scene.
- OMG, she’s going to run.
- And this better not be the way it goes down.
- NOOOOO, not the TARDIS!!!
Quick notes: There better not be a cheap fix it in the next ep, I need this to play out. But The Doctor better not fuck up this timeline because these all seem to be fixed points to me. And you better bring Clara back!
