Haha, nonny, is this about the tags on my reblog of that chat post about anti versus shippers? Look, I am a shipper. I could watch a show with NO ships anywhere in sight and somehow, I will find a ship. Jeez, I could ship a cat and mouse like I did Tom and Jerry but that, my friend, is a story for another day.
But I agree with you, not every single moment is geared towards that “ship” that I see. I think its perfectly ok to watch something and not see a ship at all and interpret the interactions between characters completely different then the next person. I think the reason so many people saw shippy moments in the last episode, is because of the magic that is Jenna and Peter. There were so many moments that I claim as Jenna and Peter and not Clara and Twelve the way my fellow shippers do. I think the chemistry is palpable between the actors and I think they were having fun.
But, because this got extremely long winded, I am of the same mindset as you. I am a shipper, I love being a shipper, but I respect those that don’t ship, don’t see it and still think its ok to interact positively.
And its ok to just watch a TV show and enjoy it ❤
