She imagines him falling to Earth alongside the collapsing cranes and the power outages and 120 miles per hour gusts of wind, indulges in the thought of someone like him strolling medieval countrysides as a troubadour, fleeing towns each time he vexes some lord, incites a rebellion, and draws the eye of an illustrious woman.
