SOME RANDOM PICTURES FROM YESTERDAY !!
Camera phone is not the best but I tried!!
Some words about Peter Capaldi……
He greeted every single person as if they were the first person he’d met. He chatted, smiled, gave cuddles and hugs and kisses and was completely charming and genuine.
From my point of view……eye contact…..OH MY GOD!!
He smells lovely……I got a hug!!
His hands and face are really soft!!
His shoulders are really narrow, and he’s much slimmer than he looks on camera!I completely forgot to thank him for my letter, because I was a total mess……and I was really cross with myself……afterwards I was so emotional I got teary…..what a tit!
If I wasn’t in love with him before I would have been after yesterday.
WHAT A MAN!
He spent hours standing greeting people, he made a point of singling out the disabled boy in the front row who wanted to ask a question but was missed by the steward. He was adored by the little ones, who were greeted with smiles and hugs and he asked them questions, crouching down to get the right angle for their photo. By the end of the afternoon he was clearly struggling with the knee, and sat with one leg outstretched for most of the Cast Show.
Elaine was there at the shoot, sipping tea in the background, keeping a weather eye on her hubby!!I saw the most brilliant cos players……I have included a picture of the Clockwork Men, which were one of the best I saw, with Teensy Twelve!!
So many little kids in costume. It bought home to me that, for all our adult take on the Doctor and Clara, Doctor Who is essentially a children’s show.
There has to be something for everyone.
Kids couldn’t care less about the Doctors love life…….they want adventure, action, excitement and fun.
You can’t have the Doctor moping about Clara for half a series…..who would watch that?
People would switch off in droves. The Doctor needs to mourn, and then move on.
The show has to stay fresh and new, and vibrant.
It caters for a vast and diverse audience.I have to mention @apollostowel @asthesnowfalls and @antennapedia it was so lovely to meet you. And spend a whole evening talking about The Doctor, Peter and Malcolm!!!
You are all awesome. And I had the best time.So…..thank you Peter.
You are a dear……truly you are!
