Given the benefit of what a hug has to offer, I wasn’t surprised by this answer. As someone who loves hugs, I would probably ask him for one. When it comes to meeting Peter, the fan has usually built up a lot of desire to finally embrace someone that has made them laugh, cry, or generally felt a strong connection toward both him and his Doctor. They are so overwhelmed with emotion sometimes, they need that brief comfort of an embrace. Hugging also heals the body and helps the person feel better and happier.
