a while ago the lovely @ladytharen asked for jyn and cassian on hoth – and she also asked about headcanons about jyn and cassian having a cat… so, naturally, these two things had to be combined somehow. the wonderful and greatly talented @literatiruinedme helped me come up with something and was so kind to provide a wonderful story for these two and kay reluctantly adopting a stray cat on base.

“Jyn and Cassian have never been pet people, but when a cat ends up hitchhiking back to Echo Base on Cassian’s transport, how could they possibly turn it away?”
