I have three WIP going right now so I will do the most angsty one this time! 

Chirrut stared at him, on the point of saying something, but
when he nodded silently Cassian turned away, to stop as he asked, “Will you
tell her?”

Cassian turned to watch Jyn, eyes tracing over every detail
as if to imprint them into his memory. She was laughing at something Bodhi
was saying; relaxed in a way that dared anyone to ruin this moment.

“I don’t think so, Chirrut – perhaps later.” He looked back
at the guardian and the corner of his mouth lifted in a small, sad smile.

“And Jyn? Will you miss her?”

“All the rest of my life.” He turned away, moving swiftly
away from the party and the revelry.

Mostly he wanted to avoid Chirrut’s knowing stare.
