1) How many works in progress do you currently have?
I have four that have about 1K words each and about three more with 2K each. Only one that is published and in process.
2) Do you/would you write fanfiction?
Yup! I started writing fanfiction for Doctor Who in 2005 and then branched into House, CSI, The West Wing, Law & Order, Parks & Rec, Inception and then back to Doctor Who and now Rogue One. Ugh, you don’t want to see my old Fanfiction,net page lol or even my Livejournal, heeeeyyy!
3) Do you prefer paper books or ebooks?
I love paper books and still buy them but my kindle is how I read these days.
4) When did you start writing?
I started writing as a hobby in middle school but just for me. Some of you may remember those old fanzines where you sent your work in and then they were published together and mailed out to the subscribers? Yeah, ST:TNG baby! I swear one day I am going to find my old stories, probably on a floppy somewhere.
5) Do you have someone you trust that you share your work with?
I do. My sister from another mister Lindsay @rumple-belle has always been there for me when I need it. Like fifteen fandoms in and we still writing! My friend, Kara, reads my stuff and I have been bouncing ideas off the group in the chat. My husband Will knows that I do this for fun and says he’s always willing to read but I have yet to take him up on that.
6) Where is your favorite place to write?
Will’s office. I dock in my laptop and use his keyboards and screens.
7) Favorite childhood book?
Charlotte’s Web
8) Writing for fun or publication?
Fun, no plans to ever publish.
9) Pen and paper or computer?
Computer but now I have an ipad with an apple pencil and that thing is the bomb. I have started taking it with me to write as i go through the day.
10) Have you ever taken any writing classes?
Yes, I am a history major so basically spent five years writing papers but I did take courses in college as well.
11) What inspires you to write?
Mainly falling in love with a ‘relationship’ and wanting to know what the next step is going to be or where the characters are going to go next. I took a year off last year towards the end of Series 9 of Doctor Who since i was just sad inside that my favourite characters were leaving and it was hard to find inspiration. I plan on coming back to them but right now Rebelcaptain has sort of sucked me in.
