Starfleet Captain Cassian Andor is well known for his professionalism, negotiation skills and penchant for following the rules. First officer Jyn Erso is the daughter of renowned scientists and likes to break the rules and take risks in the pursuit of knowledge and to better the universe for all.

When these two are tapped to lead a 5 year mission into the farthest reaches of the Universe, tempers flare and their arguments have the whole crew betting on whether they will kill each other, or finally ease the tension some other way. 

When they encounter an alien race with the power to destroy the entire Federation, they are forced to find common ground and realize they may not be as different as they thought.
