Fanfic Author Appreciation

There are a lot of these going up for fanfic author appreciation day and so many good authors and fics have been recced- some more than once!

So this is my contribution of a few rarely recced authors and fanfics! – all rebelcaptain authors and fics I haven’t seen listed yet today (although please know I don’t follow every single fandom blog so I might have missed some 🙂 )

In no particular order,

@ibonekoen ~ in particular for the fics Face in the Mirror and Tis No Spirit that can Walk on Air– an amazingly mind-bending mission fic and a bodyguard au where Jyn’s the bodyguard!

@halflunar ~ in particular for The Softening Blows– an incredible university AU that had me in tears more than once

@lustfulpasiphae ~ in particular for Take the Long Way Home and Stars in Your Eyes– an extraordinarily detailed post-Scarif survival fic and a fun post-mission fic

@estherlyon ~ in particular for Swiping Wrong and Took the Cold from my Bones– a funny and angsty slow-burn Tinder AU set in my hometown and a sad-with-a-happy-ending post-Scarif fic

@leaiorganas ~ in particular for All the Rest of My Life and A Little Too Much– a heartbreaking modern AU and an angst-with-a-happy-ending in-universe fic featuring angst and jealousy 

@thegiddyowl ~ in particular for Remember, I Love You and How Not to Drown– a unique and painful modern au with at touch of magical realism and one of my favorite high school aus

@kotaface ~ in particular for Hooked on a Feeling and Y2Cake (For the End of the World)– a hilarious and smutty crackfic and (by my count) the only Y2K au ever written haha
