Night had fallen completely by the time they got to the farm, and it was closed and locked.
“No,” Jyn moaned, holding onto the chain link fence encasing the trees. “I wanted my tree!”
Looking at her, seeing how sad she was over a Christmas tree, still not wanting this night to end, Cassian felt bold.
“Do
you have a couple hair pins?” he asked. She sent him a look, and then
her lips slowly curved up. She took pins from her bun and handed them to
him, and he worked the lock on the gate until it popped open.
“Cassian Andor, you are the last person I would take for breaking and entering,” she said.
“You’d be surprised,” he replied with a grin, feeling a surge of pride.
