I’m liking this one. From what little I’ve seen, Mendelsohn is doing an excellent job backing up Krennic, and the Empire, and villain fans out here.

I love his reaction to finding out someone’s in the 501st.* So old-fan and empathetic, and just plain warm. And the way his eyes close in the third .gif when his head goes up and back (proud. Sitting taller. And savoring this with such flair) … I mean. I’m laughing a bit, but everything about this gives me life. Everything.

*Vader’s Batallion, inspired by a costuming fan group that initially specialized in Stormtroopers, and remains SW villain-focused.
