One-shot, canon-verse. Technically, fighting for entertainment is against Rebellion rules, but Jyn just dares Cassian to stop her. He won’t, by the way. He enjoys watching her fight as much as anybody else, if for different reasons.

Ahhhh, there’s so much fun in this fic! Cassian making heart-eyes at a fighting Jyn is one of my jams forever. But I also really enjoyed his awareness of how his presence, as a captain, would dampen the enlisted guys’ fun. And then there’s Jyn, flirting with sass and ranks.

Polaris (Guide You Home) by @skitzofreak and @crazy-fruit (Ivaylo at AO3)

One-shot, canon-verse, NSFW. After Scarif, Jyn opens up to Cassian, sharing her scars and the stories behind them.

This is the final story in a Jyn-centric series from these two creators, where @skitzofreak wrote a story about one of Jyn’s scars and @crazy-fruit illustrated it. The whole series is worth binging, but this is the one that brings it all home, with Jyn consciously deciding to trust Cassian with the uglier parts of her past.

One-shot, canon-verse. Everybody’s partying on Endor after the Empire’s defeat, but Jyn can’t drink due to the meds she’s on. She and Cassian contemplate the fight they’ve fought, and where they might go from here.

One of the cool things about this story is the sense of emptiness after a great goal has been gained. Sure, they’re happy, but there’s also a loss of purpose that’s akin to sadness. But that leaves room for more personal goals, and the tentative, tender feeling that maybe now there’s time for them.
