@novemberhush tagged me! Thank you. 😊 The idea is to post the last sentence you wrote and then tag others to do the same. I’m reasonably (but not entirely) sure this is my last sentence:

“You haven’t stopped
talking long enough to give me a chance.”

It’s from a WIP that’s a few months old (which is not all that remarkable, because due to the way I write that’s true for most of my WIPs), and today I threw out about half of what I had so far because the structure wasn’t working for me. This is a line from the new stuff I wrote for it, which I like a whole lot better. It’s starting to reclaim its potential to be among the lucky few fics that actually get finished. 💪

It’s not.. precisely the last line I’ve written so far, but to share the exact last line would give away a plot point I’m trying to keep somewhat underwraps.

There’s just one
problem: Brienne rarely, if ever, ventures away from her comfort zone.

Truth is I haven’t written anything in quite some times but part of my attempt to keep writing no matter how short is by going back to basics: using ye olde notebook and pen. So here’s the last sentence which is originally handwritten for a Cassian-centric fic meant to be part of the Wiegenlied series:

“Trust me, young man, my stories are not that interesting,” Admiral Corfu said lazily, his hand went to his pocket to produce a cigarette box, and before he even light it up, the table klinked as Joreth put down an ashtray only Sith knows where he’d found it in that jam-packed place.

Cassian just grunts and Kes does not take the hint, “Heard you were leaving in the morning, a new mission?” 

Cassian doesn’t answer, his eyes stray to where Jyn is standing with Bodhi. Kes watches the movement and smiles when he sees Jyn. “Does she know?”

Does she know what? Does she know how much it bothers me to see her with Solo? Does she know I am leaving? Does she know how I feel? No, yes, no.
