Cassian scrambled to his feet and shoved between Jyn and the other soldier, squinting out at the nearby light.And straight into the black, empty eyes of a stormtrooper helmet.The singing on both sides died.
I can’t tell you how many times I have re-read this wonderful story. I love that it touches on a historical moment in WWI and brings that moment to life in this mission. The writing is so graphic that when the characters are cold, I am also so cold. When the characters are surrounded by darkness, struggling to see I feel as if I am also stuck in the dark. Beautiful moments in a new relationship with two people that are still learning how to open up.

Jyn and Cassian are on a dangerous mission bringing down a crime syndicate on Coruscant when they realize they’re being followed. Cassian’s method of creating a distraction causes some…problems.
Another one written for me as a prompt but I love it sooo much! Sexual Tension, serious miscommunication, mutual pining are literally all my jam and then you throw in the heighten seriousness of dealing with a mission that is just bad from start to finish, this was a wonderful story!

Modern AUs are one of my most favourite things to read and if it’s done well, like this amazing story, it becomes gold. This story has a quirky side, zips along and keeps you guessing at where you are going to go next. I love a cofffee shop AU and this one delivers the tea!

AP Literature teacher Jyn Erso and AP World History teacher Cassian Andor are natural rivals, have been since the day Jyn arrived a year ago. Between bickering, they mostly just try to hide the fact that they care about each other. It can get pretty complicated.

I love this, the rivalry is secretly hiding what they can’t say to each other and it lays bare Jyn’s insecurities. I love that Cassian works his way through any way and this honestly, is just a fun read with Bodhi and Chirrut and Baze as well!
