I was so into the Indiana Jones movies and I would constantly reenact circumstances. I broke my left arm three times, two of which were me trying to be Indiana Jones. The first time, I tied sheets together and tried to climb the side of my house after I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark. The second time, I was riding a horse and trying to gallop as fast as I could, like Indiana Jones, and got thrown from the horse. The third time I was bit older and it didn’t have anything to do with trying to be Indiana Jones. – Pedro Pascal for Interview Magazine.

Very important red lining shots
Doctor Who 8.08 “Mummy on the Orient Express”

One of the most rewarding details in the exemplary directing work by Paul Wilmshurst in this episode is how he exploits Capaldi’s figure.
His poses are pondered, his movements are famously balanced between mania and stillness (body mirroring mind, and viceversa).
And the outfits’ details – whether it’s the waistcoat of his tuxedo or the red lining of his coat – are emphasized at best.
This episode is visually stunning on my accounts; one of them is certainly the way it maximizes Capaldi’s physical presence in every single shot.

i think that’s why he looked very much like “THE DOCTOR” in this and of course his handsomeness was at its best
