and how am i not to assume sexy shenanigans were going on when he lands like this .. now i’m not saying actual sex was happening but a thorough snogging was had cause her hair is messy and he has a lot less layers .. hmmm

then of course there’s this

i mean, look at how happy he is .. how carefree and smiling and just happy to be there with rose tyler .. so jokey and flirty and happy (i can’t emphasis the happy cause of what comes next)

this episode is filled with so much goodness, the talk of the isolus, of how they need companionship and love to survive .. how rose takes control when the doctor goes missing and basically becomes a badass and saves the day with snark (the whole council van/axe thing), being tough but mostly with compassion

of course how can we forget such memorable moments like these:

but mostly, this episode shines through on how much these two care about each other .. how much she worries for him and how much he simply loves her 

they are so affectionate .. well they always are but in this episode they are a couple, they laugh and joke and hug at every opportunity and simply bask in each other’s presence

but there’s also an undercurrent during the whole thing, the feel that things are too perfect, that things are just right after so much darkness .. that fear the doctor has and one that rose tries to soothe away with her presence .. this whole episode is the last time we see ten’s true joy because he’s with rose .. the last time he smiles and it reaches his eyes .. the last time he’s sure that the day will end with rose tyler still with him because the next time we see them, there’s panic and heartbreak and so many tears .. so for one brief moment .. the biggest enemies are ones who just needed love, the biggest fear was being separated for a short while, and the biggest worry was a cat being more beautiful than a time lord .. yes, we get a throw away line of the doctor’s past but in all honesty, i find that very telling because he’s so comfortable with rose that things just slip (her reaction to him having children is huge because we see that he doesn’t tell her about his past .. maybe because he just wants a future with her) .. but through it all they are together and in their world, that is more than enough. 

a lot of people don’t really like fear her but i simply adore this episode .. as a shipper and as a person who cares about the doctor .. because we get a doctor in a role as not the main hero but as a side character, who lets his companion shine but mostly we get a man who is so in love with a woman, he tries to stop a storm that is inevitable

so yes, i have a lot of feelings for fear her because we see the doctor and rose tyler enjoying each other’s company but mostly just being in love
