“Go on, then. There’s no choice, is there? You can only chase after one of us, it’s never going to be me, is it?”
“Back here; twenty four hours!”
The Doctor stared a Mickey for a moment before running after Rose. She was walking a little ahead of him, and his shoelace had come loose. He knelt down to tie it, keeping his eyes on her red jacket so as not to lose her. A shadow fell over him, and somehow Rose was right there, staring down at him, looking extremely different; with longer hair and older eyes. He made to protest, realising what had happened; where she was from, but she bent down and stopped him with a sweet, firm kiss. And then it was over, and without saying a word, she walked away.
He followed her with his eyes, down a dark alley and into the TARDIS, where a considerably older looking version of himself was waiting for her, wearing a blue suit and a solemn expression.
He took a deep, shuddering breath and ran to catch up with Rose.
i’m going to fix this
Marshall: I feel like I’m the keeper of this exotic animal and I spend my time either protecting you from the world or the world from you. And it’s just… it’s just a lot of responsibility.
Mary: I’m sorry, but that’s your job. And you cannot quit.

RANDOM FRINGE MOMENTS THAT MAKE ME LOVE THE SHOW
OLIVIA: I need a cross check of recent unsolved homicides. See if any bodies have turned up with a missing pituitary gland.
CHARLIE: Oh, you say the sweetest things.
OLIVIA: Only to you, Charlie.
“We’re supposed to protect a world where one breath of the wrong air can incinerate you from the inside out. I mean, how do we protect people when corporations have higher security clearances than we do? when we’re not fully briefed on half the things that we’re investigating? You know, when the truth… The truth is we’re obsolete.”
