It just screams PERFECTION!
Will and I usually spend 75 percent of our day planning what we’re going to do the next day. We watch a lot of Frontline, a lot of Law & Order, Intervention. Lots of stuff about how things are made, like a documentary about the pyramids. Or you know, Will enjoys the Military Channel quite a bit. It’s a laugh a minute around here! (Amy Poehler)
As much as I love most period dramas — and I truly do, I can’t ever recall someone saying to me, “Jenn, let’s watch this movie where the bodices are plentiful, the men are true gentlemen in dapper suits and everyone speaks in a British accent,” and I replied, “Oh, honey, this laundry’s not going to wash itself.” — this adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell’s “North & South” is my favorite. “I knew I was not good enough for her. Yet I think I love her more then ever.” I watch it and cry softly and juggle my ovaries and silently curse John Thorton for giving me unreal expectations. Then I stand on a tower of tampons and claim my living room in the name of all Vaginakind.
Oh House/Cameron… how much I miss you… =’(
