Day 03 – A pairing that needs to happen now? [Part 2]

+ Cal/Gillian

“I’ve been cut loose many times you know, when the truth was inconvenient. But there’s one person who caught me on the way down.”

“That’s a true friend.”

“Yeah. Yeah, she is.”

Cal and Gillian are such an absolute joy to ship. With the majority of my other ships, it’s all about the tension and therefore even the smallest touches make me flail but what i love about Cal and Gillian is that they manage to incorporate both those aspects so seamlessly. They always have that tension, that UST, but they are also at such ease with each other, their touches are frequent and natural [I love when they hug, the way they hold on to each other is beautiful and very telling], they know each other inside out and they’ve been best friends for the past seven years. Plus there’s the added issue that they literally cannot lie to each other, which makes their relationship all that more interesting and unique.

This ship is making me cry. I want something like this. It’s by far, the most realistic ship on TV. It’s real and believable. Just feels so natural and right.

I want my Cal. 😦

I love them so much!
