I’ve been working on your fic and I’ve been trying to come up with reasons as to why Jyn and Cassian would be going through a rough patch in their relationship. What if they get into an argument because Jyn did something that was unnecessarily reckless and nearly got herself killed while on a mission? What if Cassian is forced to imagine what it would be like if she were dead and he were still alive? Maybe that reminds him of Scarif? What do you think?
