Right now the reason my heart tries to abandon my chest every time I think about the finale is that despite *everything* that has happened, including Dark Water, in the truly crucial irreversible moment Clara might not be strong enough for the Doctor, or vice-versa. It would surely have to be the worst, cruelest, saddest scenario possible. Anything else I think I could take…?
