That series took a left turn that I wasn’t expecting and every time I flesh out what’s next, it just gets sadder. For whatever reason, the Doctor in this series wants what he wants but he is unwilling (or unable) to let his heart go. Maybe it’s close to a thousand years of loneliness, maybe he sees Clara and compares himself to his previous version and feels hopeless. I am not sure, I can’t quite put my finger on this Doctor in this universe. So he is going to have to wait until I can make it more hopeful.
But on that note, I have started a one-shot AU that makes me giggle so there is that!
