Honestly nothing makes me less inclined to watch Doctor Who than seeing people incessantly whining about certain characters before even seeing anything like. Leave River the fuck alone. Stop throwing the woman under the bus for the sake of your ship. It’s not her fault. You have no fucking idea what’s going to happen. Why do you act like 12 is gonna CELEBRATE with her over Clara’s death?? Seriously, calm down. You a) don’t know what will happen to Clara, b) don’t know how 12/River are gonna behave and what will happen and c) sound like a bunch of preschoolers. Both Moffat AND PCap LOVE Clara. They wouldn’t disrespect her departure. And 12 cannot be alone forever. And literally no one can honestly expect the Doctor to forever sulk and whine about his past companion. The show must go on. As for 12/River… They’re married. Fact. They’ve both been with other people during the course of that marriage. Also fact. Relax. Calm down. Don’t act like a 5 year old who doesn’t understand the concept of complex relationships and situations.
