Hi friends. Slapping a black and white filter on top of someone’s gifs and rearranging the set does not make it your own work. I don’t mind people using my gifs as reaction gifs or editing them for rp purposes, but I do have a problem with someone using my work ‘as a base’ and claiming it’s their own. (And yes, by posting it in the edit tags, people are going to assume you made it. You can’t play innocent.) The effort you put into “your set” does not compare to the time and effort I spent finding and picking scenes(!!! I have 20 gifs that were candidates for this set saved), coloring the originals, plus coloring them to match each other and to look nice in 256 colors, timing, cropping, sharpening, saving, arranging the original set, and other small efforts that go into gif making. 

I don’t tag my gifs because it’s distracting. I’ve shared psds when people ask to encourage bloggers to make their own graphics and gifs. Then stuff like this happens.

Please respect your gifmakers, otherwise they’re going to stop.
