Ok theory… Other than shippy theory of space married which incidentally is my primary theory.
The ring finger of he left hand is a direct line to the heart…. That’s why we wear our wedding rings there. And at this point Clara is trying to appeal to the doctors hearts to not destroy the universe in her name and not shoot he general. So she tugs on his heart line to draw his attention to her.
But it’s clearly space married too lol.
