43. Is there anyone in your fandom who really inspires you? Oh my gosh TONS. The short list of writers who I adore and who always inspire me: @rose-tylers, @rufeepeach, @mariequitecontrarie, @thatravenclawbitch, @zombeesknees, @emospritelet, @still-searching47, @thescholarlystrumpet and @thatexactleaf.
50. How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction? Um, I’ve been writing stories since forever. My mother has a story about a princess and a unicorn that she says I wrote when I was 8. Judging by the vocabulary and handwriting, she’s probably correct. I cannot recall a time when I wasn’t writing or creating. I’ve also been doing Photoshop type stuff since we had our Apple II GS with the COLOR MONITOR. When I got on the internet, I was really into the show X-Files, I discovered the BBS message boards, IRC, and forums, and several of them were devoted to this thing called “fan fiction.” I was 14. I probably shouldn’t have read some of that stuff, but you know. 😉 It was just another creative outlet for me, a way to experiment more with writing by using characters I didn’t have to think up or form on my own. They existed and I knew them and I could put them in situations and play around. I loved it and I still love it.
