Thanatos
Greek God (Daimon) of Peaceful Death
Thanatos is Peaceful Death and the twin to Hypnos (Sleep). He is depicted as a winged man and is considered gentle compared to his sisters The Keres (Violent Deaths). Though he is also known to be cruel. Thanatos is mentioned in a few myths. One where he was sent to fetch Alcestis from the Underworld, where he lost a fight with Hercules. Another where he was captured by Sisyphus. A criminal who was fighting off death. More often then not he is known to fly the night skies with his Mother Nyx (Night) and Hypnos. He is the son to Nyx and Erebus and resides in the Underworld.
