another sort of beginning…

In another
universe, 17-year old Jyn Erso ended up with the rebellion and Cassian Andor
through less than ideal circumstances that included him receiving a broken nose
in return. (Don’t worry, they end up quite happy anyway.)

Cassian gently
presses a rag to his still bleeding nose, while the teenage girl stares him
down from the other side of the transport where she’s got one hand cuffed to
the railing of the bench.

The ship
lurches from the pelting rainstorm outside, and he gingerly touches his aching
nose; he definitely should have known
better.
