amor fati & uncurling lifelines by @theputterer

Part of the cassian andor nonsense series

There are three women on Sernpidal: a long-dead one who left to find a new home, a dying one who came back to be home, and a surviving one who is looking for home.

There are three boys, young and old, trying to understand their mothers, on Sernpidal, Yavin 4, and Fest.

The past is a mirror, and it shows the future.

But the past is not always entirely understood.

And the future is not set in stone.

And neither, for that matter, is Cassian.

There is still time to be good, still time to go home, still time to be forgiven.

Still time before the end.

Whoo Boo, one of my ALL TIME favourites!  The entire series clocks in at almost 500K words and every single one of them gold. I chose two sister stories, amor fati and uncurling lifelines to show moodboards for since the series felt like these were the stories the author was building towards but I HIGHLY recommend reading the series in the order that the author has laid out. This is beautiful story of a journey of self-discovery, love, and understanding and it’s an amazing AU version that is inverse. Please read and give the author lots and lots of love. 11/10  **CLICK ON IMAGE FOR FULL SIZE

MICHELLE. ma belle.

i need you to know i saw this post right away, lost my breath, and had to take a walk around the block to recover. your warmth and light (**eyes emoji**) seeps through the care with which you created this post, and i am so deeply touched. this is the first time i’ve seen a moodboard post for the nonsense, and the fact that you used your own time to create it is !!!!!! very very precious to me.

i return most often to these two stories, and to know how much you enjoyed them to create this post is just. so comforting. thank you, thank you, for sharing this with me.

you are also absolutely right that the series was building to these stories, even though i had not realized it until i was writing them, and finally understood the series was really about grief, in all its forms, and how to recover and come back from that. the loss of the self, the horror of lifelong mental illness, the death of a loved one, the fear your children inherit your mistakes. thank you for putting it together like this.

brb gonna go cry xoxoxoxoxo ❤
