Cassian is leaning against a tree trunk, almost invisible in the gloom, and, to her at least, clearly favoring his bad leg. She picks her way back across the camp towards him, the two of them mere shadows in the trees. He hadn’t actually taken any major hits that day but the Scarif wounds still linger in his movements. He doesn’t really look tired though – just frustrated and annoyed at not being able to dive right into the Imperial comm systems – until his gaze lands on her.It’s probably her imagination but –(Something in him stills; something in his eyes eases.)

Other than it was written for me  last year in the RCSS, I love how romantic it is considering its a battle scene. All of the honesty that is written between them is spot on and the author has weaved in amazing callbacks to the movie. Beautiful, romantic story.

  Jyn and Cassian are stranded on a planet for a year – is it a gift of time, or a prison sentence?

I have not read anything like this and I am still taken by the idea of a moment out of time. I love how, at first, there is anger and disbelief but over time the two grow together and steal this moment that has been given them. The story is romantic, wistful, hopeful and peaceful and I love the idea so much.

Jyn and Cassian have been friends for years, not that it started that way. It’d be ridiculous to think they could be anything more. One silly decision at your brother’s wedding can’t change that, right?

I classified this as a comedy since it’s a Friends AU based on Chandler & Monica’s relationship but it SO MUCH MORE! Comedy, heartfelt moments, angst, insecurity and two people falling in love the hard way are just the beginning. Through in a rowdy crowd of friends and you have drama /comedy/romance in the making.

Cassian starts his 8 week internship at Alliance Industries with a goat in an elevator… oh yeah, and a hot receptionist.

I had rec’d this story back in 2018 when I was doing my Project RC Gifts. You can check out the  moodboard I made for this story here but this THE OFFICE AU is perfect and hysterical and just kept me coming back for more. 

It was literally like reading an episode of the office come to life. The characters, situations, games, and surreal nature of this particular office is amazing. And the author stayed true to every single character in this story.
